James and Dea came to Moultrie in 1982 as a sales representative for Tide Products Agri Chemical Co. After hearing and applying financial principles from Larry Burkett's Crown Ministries to his own life, James pursued the financial services industry. He began to realize the high degree of pleasure and satisfaction from being able to see his clients set and reach their financial goals.
James looks for creative ways to help clients save money on taxes and insurance while living on a budget to enable maximum investment potential.
James obtained his insurance license in 1984 and his securities license in 1987.
James graduated from ABAC in 1972 and from the University of Georgia in 1974. He was a county agent with the University of Georgia before entering the ag-chem and financial services industries.
He married his college sweetheart, Deatrice, and they have two children: Jim and Anna. Jim is married to Deborah and they have four children: Nora, Harrison, Asher and Neil. In January of 2009 Jim joined the family-owned financial services business. Anna and her husband Clint Fleetwood have two daughters, Olivia and Alle.
In 2008 James became a Endorsed Local Provider (ELP) for Dave Ramsey, renowned radio talk show host and author.
James enjoys working in the yard, hunting on his family farm near Macon, renovating the 150 year old farm house and barns and spending time with his family.
